KOKYO was founded in 2021 by designer Rocio (born 1989 in Buenos Aires, Argentina). Before launching her independent brand, Rocio worked as a stylist's assistant and then a creative director for a luxury brand. She uses that background in fine craftsmanship to produce high-quality construction while keeping the overall aesthetic accessible and wearable for everyday life.
